Warranty Statement
At Willow Tree Woodworking, we are committed to delivering high-quality products, and we stand behind the craftsmanship and materials of every piece we produce. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and material, subject to the exclusions listed below.
Exclusions:
Custom Components: This warranty does not cover custom-designed or customer-specific components, including, but not limited to, custom parts such as fabric, vinyl, foam, etc., which are not part of the standard product line.
Exposure to Elements: Products that have been exposed to water, direct sunlight, or any other environmental conditions that cause damage are excluded from this warranty.
Damage from External Factors: Any damage resulting from accidents, fire, flooding, civil disorder, strikes, Acts of God, abuse, misuse, or any cause outside of ordinary usage is not covered under this warranty.
Installation Costs: This warranty does not cover the cost of assembly, installation, additional transportation, or any related expenses incurred due to a defective product.
Warranty Duration: Willow Tree Woodworking warrants its products to be free from factory defects for 1 year from the date of shipment. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, improper storage, or damage incurred during shipping. Claims must be made within the warranty period.
Conditions for Warranty:
Solid Wood Tops: Solid wood products must be stored and used in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. Failure to maintain these conditions may void the warranty. Solid wood furniture is not intended for outdoor use, and no warranty is provided for such usage.
We recommend maintaining a humidity level between 35% and 45%, and suggest using a humidifier or dehumidifier as necessary. Avoid placing wood furniture near windows, direct heat sources, air conditioning vents, radiators, or fireplaces.
Finish Care: To preserve the finish, clean with a soft cloth, using non-abrasive glass cleaner or mild soap and water. Avoid disinfectants containing bleach, as they may soften the finish and void the warranty. Use of ammonia-free glass cleaner is recommended, followed by immediate drying after applying any sanitizers required by health departments.
Product Use and Care:
Avoid Scratches: Do not use abrasive plate ware, cups, or any items that may scratch the surface of the table. Polished-bottom plates and cups are recommended.
Heat Damage: Avoid placing hot items directly on tabletops, as this can damage the surface.
Storage: Products should be stored in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
Shipping & Receiving:
Inspect Upon Delivery: If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or crating at the time of delivery, please mark the shipment as “damaged” before signing for it and take pictures of the damage. Failure to note damage upon receipt may void your ability to file a claim.
Damage Reporting: If you accept a shipment and notice damage after signing, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the product. We cannot be held responsible for damage if the shipment was signed for without noting any damage.
Storage of Products: If storing your product before use, ensure it is kept in a properly controlled environment, away from moisture, heat, and temperature fluctuations.
